In this video, I'm going to show you how to perform a bulk reassessment within Asset Accountant.

We received a new upgrade from Apple on our iPhone 15 models,

First, create the upload template for a bulk reassessment.

Go to Assets, select the Asset tab, Filter by Asset Group,

choose Mobile Phones, and location Melbourne.

Select Export, and choose the Bulk Reassessment template.

Open the spreadsheet, which is pre-populated with the iPhones we are reassessing.

Enter the method as Prime Cost or straight line.

The reassessment date will be 1 October 2025,

and the useful life will be extended by three years.

In this case, it's the same for all of these assets.

I'll make a note on that file, Apple Upgrade, and save the file.

Navigate to the Bulk Actions menu, choose the Depreciation Calculations tab,

drop down for all of the options, and select Reassessment.

In this screen, select the file and upload.

In the Upload Wizard, nominate the header row in your spreadsheet,

and choose how you will match the assets.

I'll select By Asset Code, and I'll make this reassessment for Accounts.

The reassessment date is 1 October 2025,

and the remaining life from the reassessment date is three years.

Next, check the matches.

You can change these if you would like the system to match with a different column.

So we match Asset Code, Method, remaining life of three years,
